Notes on value, capital and nature

This Ph.D. thesis was written by Elke Pirgmaier. It takes it’s title from an early essay from Paul Burkett. After briefly reviewing this, I was able to obtain two of Burkett’s books - Marx and Nature [@burkett:1999:marx] and Marxism and Ecological Economics [@burkett:2006:marxism]. I read the first and most of the second, and now I’m ready to return to this thesis. Perhaps its the fact that the hendiatris partially corresponds to ecology, society, semiotics.
